Foundation

Good Shepherd Communities Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable corporation, was established in April 1986. The Foundation provides financial and other support for its parent organization, Good Shepherd Communities, and for Good Shepherd Fairview Home, Good Shepherd Village at Endwell, and Chase Memorial Nursing Home and Rehab. The Foundation fulfills Good Shepherd Communities’ vision to enhance the lives of older adults through the following funds:

Living Care Fund

The Living Care Fund ensures that residents of Good Shepherd Communities have a home for life. No matter what financial challenges arise, residents continue to receive the same high-quality residential and healthcare services they deserve. This charitable fund bridges the gap between the cost of care and an individual’s available resources. Many choose to honor or remember a loved one with a contribution to the Living Care Fund—memorial gifts are both meaningful and deeply appreciated.

Employee Fund

The Employee Fund honors the dedication and compassion of our staff—our greatest asset. It provides tuition assistance to employees seeking to advance their education, supports recognition initiatives that celebrate their service, and offers emergency aid during times of crisis. From helping employees rebuild after disasters to investing in their professional growth, this fund strengthens the team that cares for our residents every day.

Unrestricted Funds

Unrestricted gifts offer the greatest flexibility to meet the most pressing needs of Good Shepherd Communities. These funds support the work of the Foundation, sustain our ability to invest and grow, and ensure that resources are available wherever they are needed most – Good Shepherd Fairview Home, Chase Memorial Nursing Home, and Good Shepherd Village at Endwell.
